Interesting even for a teetotal

I have been there in August with a bunch of people and it was really interesting. Our tour was lead by Tjaša who brought us first to the brewing site and later to the museum related to Union's history and a panoramic on beer.
We concluded the visit with a souvenir and some tasting, there were also options available to me that I don't drink alcohol!

A must try at the city

Our host David gave us a full scale tour of the story ,production process and the parts of the factory and beer in general if you decide to do the tour book a table to enjoy their beer with some nice food!!!

1.5 hours well spent

Very well done giving us the fascinating history of both Union and Lasko where their past is intertwined.
Now both owned by Heineken so the past is over The museum is full of strange looking equipment but I am sure it worked well in its time. All in all 1.5 hours well spent.

Programme

A friendly guide will take you through more than 160 years of picturesque history of brewing in Ljubljana and the development of the Union brand. You will go on an exclusive tour of the modern production line of the Pivovarna Union Brewery and experience an authentic beer drinking atmosphere at the tasting at the old inn.

During your visit, you can expect a number of pleasant surprises, but we naturally cannot tell you what they are. Be sure to bring your friends because good company will make the unforgettable experience even sweeter.

Children are allowed to visit the attraction if accompanied by an adult. Children over the age of 15 can also take part in a guided tour of the Brewery.

ANNOUNCEMENT! The construction of the City Brewery has begun to the fullest, so from April 8th to May 3rd, we will be offering guided tours on a modified schedule: Tuesday – Saturday at 15:00, 17:00, 19:00
